Spring Mornings, Meditation and Inspirations

I’m sitting on my front porch enjoying the slightly cool, fresh air and gentle breeze while being serenaded by the variety of birds singing their morning song. It is glorious!

When I’m with nature, I feel inspired and motivated. It gets my creative juices flowing. I find I accomplish more when I connect with nature.

Enjoying Nature Indoors at Phipps

Chihuly Glass Sculptures Last Friday my husband and I were off so we decided to spend the day at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Phipps was established in 1893 in Pittsburgh, PA. It’s sandwiched between two well-known university campuses: Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. It’s one of my favorite places to visit, especially in the winter when everything is so gray. I brought my  Nikon camera and captured some pretty nice shots. Flowers and Mocha The Beauty of Impermanence

 I love this time of year. Everything is in bloom, the days are longer and warmer.  I love to sit out on my deck. It overlooks woods and is in the back of my house. In the morning, upon awakening, I go downstairs, put on a pot of coffee, heat up a combo of almond and soymilk in preparation for my morning mocha. I love the ritual of preparing the drink, getting it just the right strenght, sweetness and temperature and pairing it with a small morsel of something sweet. Grateful for the Simple Summer Pleasures

I love being outside, especially first thing in the morning. We recently moved and have acres of woods at the the back of our house. I look forward to having my morning coffee on the back deck. It is very serene. I sit and listen to the symphony of birds as they perform their morning song. This morning I was greeted by a beautiful moth on my deck floor.
