Berry Banana Oat Smoothie
How do you start your day?
What you put in your mouth and in your mind will have a direct impact on how you feel and how your day will go.
I started my day with a healthy, banana, berry and oat smoothie and I set my intentions to go with the flow. It’s Friday, the end of the week or start of the weekend, however you choose to look at it. So, I decided to just take it easy and let the day take me to where it wants to without putting pressure on myself.

As a result, I managed to get some light chores done, a casual walk, writing in my blog and a little spiritual practice as well. It’s good to have a structured day but sometimes it’s good to let go and just go with the flow.
Just in case you are interested, here is the recipe to my healthy, delicious smoothie:
What’s great about this smoothie is it’s 100% natural and plant-based. Also, no store-bought oat milk is needed.
What you will need:

- Blender or smoothie maker(I used my NutriBullet)
- 1 C Organic frozen berries
- 1 banana, peeled
- a small handful of raw oats
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla(or to taste)
- 1 – 2 tsp honey(also to taste)
Oat milk
For a smoother smoothie, add the water, oats, vanilla, and honey first. Mix the ingredients well until you have a nice, clean and smooth, milk-like liquid.
It’s time to make the smoothie
Now that you made the milk, you can add in the remaining ingredients (banana and berries) to the blender and mix until it is completely smooth and to your desired consistency.
Pour the liquid into your favorite smoothie glass and enjoy. Cheers!
