If you are like most people, you probably experience some back pain in your life. For the more mature readers, this is a common issue, but are you doing anything about it? I came accross the McKenzie method on Well + Good blog and it’s basically 7 exercises you can do everyday to alleviate back pain.
If you’ve ever done any yoga, you will recognize a few of these exercises(so once again a SHOUT OUT TO YOGA!) I personally have had issues with lower back pain and already do some of the 7 Mckenzie exercises that are demonstrated in a video on the Well + Good blog post, but there are a couple more that I see I need to add.
I hope this helps any of you who are having back pain issues…and remember…don’t force it if it hurts! Listen to the advice of the Physical Therapist on the video and seek professional help if these exercises are too painful.
