I try to support local businesses when I can. I just finished my run and stopped at my favorite, little cafe, The Loviest Coffee and Boutique, located in a small, quaint town in Sewickley, Pa.
This adorable cafe/boutique is locally owned and operated. These quaint, little finds are so much harder to stumble upon but are so treasured, at least for me. They remind me of little cafes tucked away in European cities or villages.
Unlike the corporately owned cafes, locally and privately owned businesses have so much more appeal and personality because they are designed with love and passion by the owner.
As I sit outside sipping on my water and Earl Grey tea, the patio is filling up with families for story time. This little establishment packs so many fun events into such a lovely(The Loviest Cafe) cafe.
So, when you can choose, support local businesses. They seem fewer and far between. It really is the simple things in life that bring the biggest joy!
Do you have a special or favorite local establishment you like to frequent? I’d love to hear about it!
