My sister and I are both big believers in the law of attraction. We understand that we are co-creatorrs of our lives. It is our thoughts, beliefs that help shape our life and expressing gratitude keeps our thoughts and beliefs in check.
We recently had a conversation about gratitude and realized that we both strayed from our daily practice of expressing gratitude. So, we made a pact that we would text each other every morning on one thing for which we are grateful. We were both feeling the need to put gratitude back into our daily routine because our lives always seem to go better when we are focused on the things for which we are grateful instead the things we don’t like.
Remember, you can be grateful for things big and small and sometimes it’s the small things that we ignore but can really change how we feel just by acknowledging our gratitude toward them.
I am very happy and grateful for my new light fixtures for our front entrance and deck and for our lighted bedroom ceiling fan.
We moved into our home about 3 1/2 years ago. We’ve made enhancements but it takes times to update and replace things. We finally got around to replacing the original, outdoor light fixtures. I absolutely love them! They are larger and brighter and match better with our front door.
The motor to our ceiling fan in our master bedroom died from daily use. We love having a gentle, light breeze on us while we’re sleeping. I guess we loved it so much that we blew out the motor. We were without overhead lights and a fan for over a month and I was tired of being in the dark. I’m so very happy and grateful to finally have light again and some air circulation.
You don’t have to look too far or to think too hard about something for which to be grateful. If you can’t think of anything, I always go back to being thankful for my breath. Without breath, I would not be living this wonderful life on earth.
