These are really good tips from Zest For LIfe on “How To Incorporate Yoga Into Your Daily Life“.

I meditate everyday. I make it a priority. The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is drink a glass of water and then head to the living room to do yoga and then meditate. I either listen to a mediation app or I sit in quiet. The meditation app I use has a 10 minute, 20 minute or a limitless time. I use the 10 and 20 minutes the most. The unlimited came in handy when we flew to Maui last summer.

I keep my yoga mat on the floor in my living room. I do my meditation and reading there, so it is a reminder to me to do some stretches whenever I can.

I try to get in a minimum of 5 sun salutations in the morning. I know that isn’t a lot, but it gets my body limbered up and keeps it relatively flexible.

I also do sun salutations after my shower, before I get dressed; oddly it helps dry my hair. Another time I do yoga is after my runs. Again, I find sun salutations are great for a post run workout stretch because it incorporates almost all of the muscles I use when I run. Sun salutations are an total body workout.
