Gratitude is a Path to Awareness

I’m six days into my practice of 100 days of gratitude. I’m finding that more I practice gratitude, the more aware I become. Gratitude is a path to awareness. How does that work? The more I focus on gratitude, the less random my thoughts are. It’s as though gratitude helps me control my thoughts instead of my thoughts controlling me.

I’m finding it easier to recognize those negative, random thoughts as they pop into my head and replace them with thoughts of gratitude. When I’m in a state of gratitude, I’m in the moment, the NOW and no longer focusing on the past or the future.

I’m feeling grateful for my practice of gratitude.
